SOURDOUGH ZUCCHINI BREAD

A zucchini bread recipe with a sourdough twist.

Ingredients
  

  • cups all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cups brown sugar
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a loaf pan.
  • Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • Grate zucchini and set aside. Do not wring out the zucchini liquid.
  • Mix sourdough starter and eggs.
  • Add grated zucchini, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Add chocolate chips.
  • Mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into loaf plan.
  • Bake for one hour or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
